Acquisition of Great Plains Medical Expands Medical Supply Division

Rehab Medical Supply, a national medical supplier, is expanding its medical supply division with the recent acquisition of Great Plains Medical. Great Plains Medical, a medical supplier located in Bixby, Oklahoma, has been providing its members with incontinence supplies through the ADvantage Program for more than a decade.

After the formal retirement of Great Plains Medical CEO Diane Sheets, the company approached Rehab Medical Supply with confidence that they could provide the same level of care to their members while navigating the recent changes to the ADvantage Program.

“We are excited as a company to continue to provide the best in class service and medical products to the patients of Great Plains Medical. Diane's retirement is well deserved, and we are grateful and honored that Diane chose and trusted our organization to take care of her patients. - Business Unit Director Tri Van Le

“This acquisition is aligned with our immediate and long-term growth strategy to expand our company and brand nationally. We look forward to continuing utilizing our industry exclusive software technology and internal order processes to expedite orders and shipments to all our patients to improve their quality of life.”

Earlier this month, Great Plains Medical initiated the transition and has been working closely with the company’s leadership team to ensure a smooth transition. All existing members have been notified of the transition and have not experienced an interruption in services. Rehab Medical Supply has more than 35 years of experience working with insurance companies, navigating the cumbersome paperwork process, and handling recent policy changes making Great Plains Medical more than confident in the Rehab Medical Supply brand.
